Augusta Police are actively searching for 40-year-old Justin M. Larrabee, who they describe as armed and dangerous. The search began on July 5th when officers responded to a domestic assault involving Larrabee and his parents at 480 Riverside Drive. Larrabee reportedly displayed a firearm, threatened his family, and then fled the scene before the police arrived. While his vehicle has been located, Larrabee himself remains at large.
Police have stated that Larrabee has not made any threats to anyone outside of his family. They are cautioning the public not to approach or attempt to detain him, but to report any sightings to the police immediately. Larrabee is wanted on multiple charges including two counts of Domestic Violence Assault, Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening, Aggravated Criminal Mischief, Obstructing the Report of a Crime, Violation of Conditions of Release, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
The authorities are urging anyone with information on Larrabee’s whereabouts to come forward, as they continue their efforts to locate and apprehend him. The situation is being taken very seriously, and the community is advised to remain vigilant while the search for this dangerous individual continues.
