The Readfield Historical Society will be hosting their annual wine and cheese social to kick off Readfield Heritage Days on August 9th from 5-7 p.m. Guests can enjoy a variety of refreshments, including wine, sangrias, cheeses, and appetizers, while touring the museum and shopping in the gift shop. Author Dale Potter-Clark will be available to sign her books during the event. In celebration of Kents Hill School’s upcoming bicentennial in 2024, there will be a walking tour of the campus on August 10th from 10-11:30 a.m. The tour will highlight the school’s history and notable figures from its early days. The museum and archives will also be open on August 8th and 10th, as well as every Thursday and Saturday until Labor Day weekend. Membership dues can be paid at the door, with options for annual, senior, and lifetime memberships.
