The Friends of Lithgow Library hosted its annual sale at the Lithgow Public Library in Augusta, attracting more than 50 eager shoppers who lined up early to browse through the 3,000 donated books and other items. The sale continued over several days, giving visitors the opportunity to find great deals on used items.
Meanwhile, in Skowhegan, the Rotary Club held its 40th annual lobster bake as part of the Skowhegan River Fest, honoring former Rotarian and friend Mickey Powers. Members prepared trays of delicious lobster dinners for attendees to enjoy in the downtown area.
