Gebresilase Tadese Worku and Faith Chepkoech emerged victorious in the Beach to Beacon men’s and women’s races, respectively. Worku finished with a time of 28:12 while Chepkoech clocked in at 32:05. Abby Samuelson and Luke Marsanskis were the top Maine runners. The wheelchair division saw James Senbeta and Hannah Babalola clinch victory. The event was briefly delayed due to weather, but the wheelchair race kicked off at 8:50 a.m. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
