Beautiful beginning of the season for Messalonskee and Skowhegan

Messalonskee and Skowhegan’s golf teams started the season on a positive note at Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, despite battling windy conditions. Skowhegan junior Eddie Goff and Messalonskee sophomore Gavin Jackson both performed well, with Jackson leading the Eagles as their top golfer. Both teams have high expectations for the season, with Skowhegan seeing an increase in their roster numbers and Goff leading the way in scores. The players enjoyed the picturesque views of Belgrade Lakes but faced some challenges with the course’s hills.
