Former University of Maine standout Zavier Scott has landed a spot on the practice squad of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings after an impressive preseason with the Indianapolis Colts. The undrafted free agent rushed for 74 yards on 14 carries and caught two passes for 10 yards during exhibition games. Scott was particularly impressive in a game against the Arizona Cardinals, where he rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries and scored a touchdown. Despite being a final cut from the Colts, Scott expressed gratitude for his time in Indianapolis and looks forward to the journey with the Vikings.
