Lakewood Theater in Madison will be hosting “Screwball Comedy” by Norm Foster, set in 1938 and featuring a story of competition, love, and hijinks. The play follows Bosco Godfrey as he challenges reporter Jeff Kinkaid and newcomer Mary Hayes to cover a wedding for a chance to win a job at The Chronicle. As the two reporters navigate their assignment, they uncover secrets and develop unexpected relationships. Starring Heather Bisson, Ethan Richards, Jen Day, and Jakob Sutton, the performances will take place on several dates in September. Tickets are available for adults, children, and cabaret seating.
