He also founded the Rosie O’Grady Station Good Time Gang, a group of balloon pilots, showcasing his passion for flying.
While Kittinger passed away in December 2022 at the age of 94, his legacy lives on through his record-breaking balloon flight and high-flying tales. He was remembered as a modest and humble individual who always made time for everyone, whether it was signing autographs or taking selfies.
