Rotary Club of Ellsworth Hosts Pancake Breakfast to Help Fund Global Community Project

The Rotary Club of Ellsworth is hosting a community pancake breakfast on September 27 to support Centro de Prótesis & Terapia Física, a program that provides prosthetics and physical therapy to individuals in need in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Central America. The event aims to raise funds to help those who have lost limbs regain mobility and independence. The breakfast will take place at Ellsworth Elementary Middle School from 7-10 a.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door or from any Rotarian.

Kelly Brown, chair of the Ellsworth Rotary International Committee, emphasized the impact of the initiative in changing lives on a global scale. The event promises a morning of delicious food and community spirit, inviting everyone to join in and make a difference. All proceeds from the breakfast will go directly towards Centro de Prótesis & Terapia Física, ensuring that more individuals have the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

The Rotary Club of Ellsworth, a nonpolitical and nonreligious organization, aims to provide humanitarian service and promote high ethical standards in various vocations. The club, chartered in 1950, currently has 66 members dedicated to making a positive impact in the community and around the world.
