Auburn man Aaron Aldrich was found guilty of the murder of Mohamed Aden from Lewiston and Shoeb Mohamed Adan from Springfield, Massachusetts in a Poland home. The jury deliberated for less than two hours before delivering the verdict. The victims were discovered during a welfare check at a home on Tripp Lake Road, with Aden being a student at Lewiston High School. Aldrich claimed self-defense during the trial, but prosecutors argued that he targeted his victims with the intention to kill and rob them. Aldrich could face 25 years to life for each count and is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
