Erskine Academy’s girls soccer team emerged victorious in a thrilling 9-3 win against Waterville, with Kelsie Dunn, Olivia Childs, Sadie Pierce, and Kinsey Ulmer each scoring two goals. The Eagles improved their record to 2-1, with Ellie Giampetruzzi also finding the back of the net and Eryn Young making 14 saves in goal. Waterville saw Maeve Wilcox score twice and Madison Gervais contribute a goal and an assist. In boys soccer action, Waterville defeated Erskine Academy 7-1, led by Hunter Willett’s hat trick and goals from Gabriel Cedeno, Thomas Labbe, and Keagan Tavares. In another boys soccer matchup, Monmouth Academy secured a 4-1 victory over Winthrop, with Zane Foyt playing a crucial role by scoring and assisting on all three first-half goals. Jake Harmon added an unassisted goal, while Isaac Breau scored for Winthrop. Richmond also emerged victorious with a 3-0 win against Buckfield, with goals from Ben Fournier, Kenny Mechum, and Zander Steele. The Bobcats remained undefeated at 4-0, while Buckfield goalkeeper Cayden Durgin made 12 saves. In another exciting game, Morse defeated Gardiner 3-0, with goals from Ellis Valade, Christian Hallowell, and Ashton Jacobs leading the Shipbuilders to victory over the Tigers in a matchup of unbeaten teams.
