Orono fought back with goals from Jay Tweedie, but George Stevens remained resilient, with Aubrey King adding another goal. Fred Coit sealed the victory with a goal in the second half. Both teams put up a good fight, with GSA dominating shots on goal and corners.
The Eagles credited their success to a sense of urgency, improved health, and chemistry.
