Waterville’s Gabriel Cedeno scored a hat trick to lead his team to a 5-0 victory over Medomak Valley in boys soccer action. Ethan Goodrich also had a goal and three assists for Waterville, with Garrett Gendreau adding another goal. In other soccer action, Mount View defeated Belfast 3-1, while Leavitt emerged victorious over Erskine with a game-winning penalty kick in overtime. Winthrop shut out Lisbon 3-0 with Nick Wagner scoring two goals.
In girls soccer, Medomak Valley staged a comeback to defeat Waterville 3-2, with Scarlett Flint scoring two goals for the Panthers. Mt. Blue dominated Mountain Valley 8-0, led by Alaya Smith and Lily Hastings who each scored two goals. In volleyball, Cony defeated Lake Region 3-1, with Addie Lebel leading the way with 10 kills and three blocks.
