The University of Maine football team received six all-conference accolades from the Coastal Athletic Association following a successful season. Xavier Holmes set career highs in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks, earning a spot on the All-CAA Second Team. Three Black Bears, Trevin Ewing, Montigo Moss, and Joe Horn, were named to the All-CAA Third Team for their impressive performances. Moss had a standout year with over 700 yards and two touchdowns, while Ewing averaged over 27 yards per return. Horn’s solid offensive line play contributed to Maine’s rushing success. Izaiah Henderson and Jamaree Gibson were both recognized as Honorable Mentions for their strong contributions to the team. Henderson recorded five sacks, and Gibson posted career-high numbers in tackles and pass deflections. The awards highlight the Black Bears’ talent and success during the season, ranking as one of their best records in recent years. Maine football continues to make strides and earn recognition within the conference thanks to the hard work and dedication of their players and coaching staff.
