Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Lainey Wilson Shine in Thanksgiving Halftime Show

The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and country singer Lainey Wilson teamed up for a sensational halftime performance during the Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Giants. The iconic squad, known for their appearances in the Netflix docuseries America’s Sweethearts, showcased their talents alongside Wilson in a rollicking show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The 36-person roster of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders included veterans and rookies, with fan favorites Kelly Villares and Charly Barby making the team. The squad received invitations to training camp earlier this year and debuted their new lineup during the Thanksgiving Day game halftime show. Additionally, Netflix confirmed the renewal of America’s Sweethearts for a second season, following the 2024-2025 cheerleading squad throughout the NFL season.

The halftime show also served as The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff, initiating the annual fundraiser for programs that support vulnerable communities with food, shelter, rehabilitation, and disaster relief. Last year’s halftime performance featured Dolly Parton, while Wilson took the stage this year to promote the organization’s charitable efforts.

Wilson expressed her excitement for the event on social media, noting her partnership with The Salvation Army to make a difference beyond the holidays. The halftime show highlighted the collaboration between the Cowboys cheerleaders, Wilson, and The Salvation Army in supporting those in need and providing entertainment for football fans.
