Health Sciences to Face Maine-Endwell in Class B NY Football Semifinals

Health Sciences/Buffalo Academy of Science/Global Concepts will face off against Maine-Endwell in a highly anticipated matchup this Saturday at Vestal High School. Maine-Endwell, the reigning Class B state champions, has been dominant this season with a 12-0 record and will provide a tough challenge for Health Sciences, who are looking to become the first Section VI Class B team to reach the state final since 2000.

Health Sciences coach Ty Parker is eager for his team to compete against the best and believes they have what it takes to pull off a victory. The Falcons showed their potential with a convincing 32-0 win over Eastridge in the Far West Regional, led by junior running back Kavon Pitts who rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns.

Parker emphasizes the importance of rising to the occasion in big games and has instilled a winning mentality in his team. They have been on a successful run in the Section VI playoffs, defeating top teams like Olean, Lackawanna, and South Park on their journey to the state semifinals.

Despite the challenges ahead, Parker and his team are embracing the opportunity to face Maine-Endwell and believe they have what it takes to come out on top. The Falcons are looking forward to the matchup and are determined to continue their playoff success. The game promises to be an exciting showdown between two talented teams vying for a spot in the state final.
