In Maine, Androscoggin County reported 6.5 inches of snow in Turner, while Franklin County saw a whopping 12.5 inches in Madrid. Other notable amounts include 8.8 inches in Fryeburg, 2 inches in Gardiner, and 0.6 inches in Pownal. In New Hampshire, Carroll County experienced 10.5 inches in Freedom and 8.5 inches in Albany. Coos County reported 5.6 inches in Whitefield. Some areas only saw trace amounts of snow, such as the Portland Jetport in Maine. The storm caused disruptions to travel and holiday plans, with authorities urging caution on the roads and reminding residents to be prepared for winter conditions.
