This was the first meeting between Duke and Seattle, with the Redhawks aiming for their first win against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since 2010.
After a slow offensive start, Duke went on a 13-0 run at the beginning of the second half, further solidifying their lead. Seattle had difficulty scoring, missing 23 of 25 shots from midway through the first half until midway through the second. The Redhawks didn’t score in the second half until almost 12 minutes in. Despite Viktor Rajkovic’s 3-pointer late in the game, Duke was already ahead by 29 points.
The Blue Devils bounced back from a recent loss to No. 1 Kansas, demonstrating their strength and ability to dominate on the court. With this victory, Duke improved to a 5-2 record for the season. The impressive performance by Proctor and Flagg showcased the team’s depth and talent. Duke fans are surely looking forward to more wins as the season progresses.
