Joseph Suaalii passed fit to play for Wallabies in Test against Ireland following recovery from arm injury

Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii has recovered from a minor arm injury and will be starting for Australia against Ireland. He initially left the game against Scotland with what was thought to be a serious injury. Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt confirmed Suaalii’s fitness for the upcoming match. This will be Suaalii’s third start since transitioning from the NRL to rugby. The Wallabies have been experimenting with different combinations in their lineup throughout their end-of-year tour in preparation for future competitions. NSW flyhalf Tane Edmed is set to make his debut off the bench, while winger Harry Potter will be on the reserves. Ireland, on the other hand, will see flyhalf Sam Prendergast make his second consecutive start and prop Cian Healy set a national record for caps. Schmidt emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for all selected players to take the field during the tour. Both teams are looking forward to a competitive match, with Ireland aiming to give Healy a deserving performance. Australia acknowledges the challenge but is determined to test themselves against a strong and cohesive Irish team. The match will be broadcast on Stan Sport, offering fans the chance to watch the Autumn Nations Series live and exclusive.
