The Maine women’s ice hockey team tied with Merrimack College in a 1-1 game at Lawler Rink. Mira Seregély scored the lone goal for Maine, assisted by Ava Stevenson and Kendall Sundby. Kiia Lahtinen made 21 saves for Maine, who outshot Merrimack 33 to 22. Maine won 65% of faceoffs. The game went to overtime and Merrimack won the shootout for the extra point. The teams will face off again on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Lawler Rink.
