The Machias Arts Council is organizing a 7-day motorcoach trip to New York City during NYC Art Week. The trip will include visits to famous sights like the Statue of Liberty, art museums, galleries, and street art events. The goal is to provide both artists and non-artists with an inspiring experience in the city that never sleeps.
MAC Secretary Sharon Mack, an experienced bus trip organizer, highlighted the magical time of year during New York City Art Week with pop-up galleries, street vendors, and arts events in parks. The trip will take place on June 19-25 and includes accommodations, meals, transportation, and free time for exploration. The cost is $1039 per person based on double occupancy, with only 50 seats available.
Interested individuals are required to provide a $75 non-refundable deposit before April 1 to reserve a seat. Final payments are due on April 12, with the deposit applied towards the total cost. The trip will depart from Machias, picking up passengers along I-95 South. Single rooms are available for an additional cost.
Those wanting more information, to make a reservation, or to see the full itinerary can contact Sharon Mack at 207-812-2320 or sharonkileymack@hotmail.com. This trip promises to be a memorable experience for all participants, combining sightseeing with a focus on the arts in the bustling city of New York.
