PanStorm Brings Caribbean Vibes to Bangor with Free Summer Shows
BANGOR, ME — PanStorm, a vibrant 12-piece steel pan group, is set to delight audiences with free weekly performances in West Market Square throughout August. Kicking off tomorrow, the shows will take place every Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. until August 28.
Under the leadership of band captain Alecia Talbot, PanStorm features an energetic repertoire that primarily showcases soca music from Trinidad and Tobago, while also incorporating Latin, jazz, and pop influences. Renowned for their engaging performances, the group has been entertaining audiences in Bangor for approximately 10 years.
The summer concert series is being organized in partnership with Downtown Bangor Partnership, aiming to energize the community and create a festive atmosphere. "Perfect for families, music lovers, and anyone looking to add a little extra spark to their week," the band shared on Facebook. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a chair, a friend, and, most importantly, their dancing shoes.
