At just 25 years old, Andover native Gillette has landed his dream job as the head coach of Maine Maritime’s basketball team. Gillette, who played for Andover High School before going on to play college basketball at Colby College, has always had a passion for coaching and is eager to bring his knowledge and expertise to the Mariners.
This opportunity comes after Gillette spent a year as an assistant coach at Maine Maritime, where he was able to gain valuable experience and build relationships with the players and staff. Now, as the head coach, Gillette hopes to lead the team to success both on and off the court.
